What the website records
The website forms do not store any data on our servers. They prepare a WhatsApp message or an email that you check and send yourself.
The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and uses no visitor tracking tools.
Like any website, our host OVH keeps technical logs (IP address, pages requested, date) needed for security and for the site to work.
Data you send us
When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone: first name, surname, email address, phone number and the details of your request (courses, dates, number of players, bags, level, delivery address, a child's age for a junior bag, message).
Please do not send us sensitive data: it is not needed for our services.
Purposes and legal bases
Answering your request and arranging your golf services: steps taken at your request before a contract, then performance of the contract.
Meeting our legal obligations, including accounting: legal obligation.
Keeping the website secure: legitimate interest.
Your data is never sold or used for targeted advertising.
Recipients
The Green Society team and CONCEPT COM & GOLF SARL, a Moroccan company of the same group, which arranges the services in Marrakech.
Providers strictly needed for your request: golf courses, partner agencies for coaching accommodation and transfers, bag delivery.
Our technical providers: OVH (website hosting), WhatsApp (Meta) for messaging, our email service.
Transfers outside the European Union
Your services take place in Morocco, so the necessary data is sent to our team and partners in Marrakech. This transfer is necessary for the pre-contractual steps and the contract you requested (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR).
In Morocco, this data is also protected by Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
Third-party services loaded by the pages
To display the website, your browser contacts Google Fonts (handwritten font) and unpkg (map library). On the Green fees page, it loads OpenStreetMap map tiles. These services receive your IP address when loading.
The WhatsApp and Directions buttons take you to WhatsApp and Google Maps, which apply their own privacy policies.
Retention periods
Requests that do not lead to a booking: 3 years from our last exchange.
Clients: for the duration of the service, then for the periods required by law, including accounting.
Host technical logs: according to OVH's policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to set instructions for what happens to it after your death. Write to hello@thegreensociety.golf: we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can contact the CNIL in France or the CNDP in Morocco.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS only. Access to the administration area is restricted and protected, and the administrator username is not publicly exposed.
Updates
This policy may change. The online version applies. The French version prevails.
